Domino Exploits

Flavius has been involved in competitive dominoes since 1968 as a youth player for Jayhawkers Domino Club in Jamaica, and in Domino Events management since 1970. At the age of 20 years was appointed consultant to the Jamaica Domino Association and it’s Chairman Mr. Errol Ng You for the Player’s Magnum All Island Domino competition. Flavius was also Chief Judge for the competition.

Flavius Playing Days

Flavius has had a long and illustrious playing career, playing in Jamaica, Canada, Barbados, St. Lucia and the United Kingdom. Flavius started playing dominoes at an early age with his family and friends. In 1968, while still in high school, he was invited to join JayHawkers Domino Club by it’s captain (a friend of his father). A strong love affair with the game started and is just as strong today.

JayHawkers Domino Club

Top team in Jamaica 1960's - 1980's

Flavius played for the JaHawkers Domino Club from 1968 to 1991 when the club closed its doors. The first 2 years saw him involved in an intense training programme until he was playing for the first team.

Time & Place Domino Club

Top Team in Toronto canada 1970's -1980's

Founding member of the Time and Place Domino Club in Toronto, Canada.

He was groomed by his Late friend and captain of the team Mr. Julian Ford and his partner Mr. Cecil “Carlton” Chin.

They were a leading pair for the team.

Top Ten Domino Club

Young and upcoming Team Jamaica 1970's - 1980's

Assisted this young club to develop and grow.

Flavius played with them in a few tournaments.

The club was made up of young players who needed mentoring. They became a powerful force in the 1980’s.
